This issue occurs when a report downloaded as a .pbix file from PBI service fails to open with the message as shown in the screenshot below. Details of the error are mentioned below as well.
The issue was reported on PBI Community forum for support on 12/13/2022. I have tried opening the file on older and newer versions of PBI desktop, unfortunately to no avail.
Is this a known bug? Any leads and advice would be appreciated.
