Issue with Saving Changes in Dashboard in Power BI Online

This issue has happened many times and is currently happening.

Adding a new tile to a dashboard is working, but changes to an existing tile of the dashboard could not be saved and error message pop up repeatedly after a change to a tile. The process is below:

1. Click on the 3 dots of a dashboard tile, then click Edit Details.

2. The Detail page of the tile will pop up on the right of the screen. Make changes. There are only 2 buttons in the Tile Detail window - Apply and Cancel. Click Apply. The changes are reflected on the dashboard page. However, when the Detail page is closed, no changes were saved; The tile is reversed to the old state, and there are multiple Error messages ("Something Went Wrong") pop up on the screen repeatedly.

Status: Investigating

Hi @Lannguyen2022,

May I know whether you still have this problem? If you try these steps, will you update the tile successfully?

1 Try again later

2 Clear the browser cookie/cache and try again

3 Try other browsers

Hi @v-cazheng-msft ,

Thank you for your response.

We have tried many things, including the steps you suggested, but nothing seems to help. Some additional information:

This issue happened to all users at our company, not to any specific individuals.

This issue was reported to us a few times in the past. The last time it was reported by our users was in March, 2022. At that time, while we were trying to investigate, the issue was resolved on its own after a week or so.

Hopefully, this will bring to Microsoft's attention so that they can investigate to find the root cause and a permanent solution for this issue.

Also having this issue! I keep hoping this will get fixed and I can make these changes another day, but it keeps having the same problem - cannot apply changes made to dashboard tiles.

Same issue on my side, and additionally in the last days the system gets disconnected very frequently by logging out, need to start a new browser session each time, very frustrating..

Same issue here.
POV: how to embarass yourself in a meeting with your CEO-- make them a personalized dashboard that doesn't save & is just a mess of overlapping tiles when presented.
