Date Display Format in Date slicer

Hi,

 

I am having trouble with the format of the date displayed in the Date slicer of power BI.

The dates in my data are in UK format but the date slicer is displaying them in US fromat.

So I think I found a fix to this, at least if you are using Google Chrome browser.   In Google Chrome settings, Advanced, select your language as English (United Kingdom).  I have used either English (Australia) or English (United Kingdom) and they both work.   Then in Power BI service, go to settings and make sure your language is set to use the browser default.

 

Doing this, I have been able to get my report slicers display the date correctly for Australia.  However - I realise that this does require all users to update their browser settings - which might not be the solution you are after.
