Bug when using Calculation Group and SELECTEDMEASURE as input to visuals

When creating a Calculation Group in Tabular Editor, with measures as Calculation Items, and using SELECTEDMEASURE, the SELECTEDMEASURE function/the calculation slicer, seems to overwrite other explicit measures in Power BI Desktop.

Everything that is not hardcoded to a particular value/text string/etc. will take the value of the measure from the calculation group - fx. dynamic titles, cards and other visuals will all show the total value of the measure selected from the calculation group.

Changing the interaction between visuals that should not be impacted and the calculation slicer, does not fix the issue.

Status: Investigating

Hi @CarlEThinggaard ,

I've tried to reproduce your issue but it doesn't seem to work.
I created 2 different calculation groups in tabular and modified the format string expression of one of them.
Tried to interact with a different visual in desktop and it doesn't seem to be overwritten, am I missing something?
Can you provide a sample pbix without sensitive information?

Hi @v-xiaoyan-msft,

I get the warning that "The file type (.pbix) is not supported". Is there any other options/ways to send you the sample file?

Hi @v-xiaoyan-msft,

The sample file can be downloaded here.

As you will see in the file, the main problem is that the dynamic titles in the card and line chart visual, are not corresponding to the measure defined in the dynamic title measures ([Card Title] and [Line Chart Title] measures) - instead the titles take the value of the selected measure from the Calculation Group.

Carl

I have a similar problem, may be the same.

I have calculation groups in my file.
Add a measure like CardTitle_Measure="hello world"
In a text title of a card visual i click fx button and can select my measure as a title. But card title is always seems empty.
