Support for R package cartogram

Hello 
I am trying to create a cartogram visualisation which would change the size of the country shape in proportion to a data value (non-contiguous cartogram). The existing Filled map viz and all those that I can find in the Marketplace only control a data point/dot within the country by size of value. 

If R package cartogram were to be supported I understand this would permit this kind of visual.
