Power BI is great, but it is a massive headache to deal with RLS. We have a list of users (hundreds of them) and having to use PowerBi Desktop to manually update EVERY SINGLE .pbix every time someone joins or leaves is a massive headache. We have so many data sets that this is becoming hugely time consuming.
Why is it not possible to set up a single dataflow of users and then apply RLS to that (using the service UI so you don't need to use Desktop for this and involve a developer), which would then flow through into each report when this data flow is brought into PowerBi Desktop? Since "Users" is typically a single source of truth data set, this would be a huge help.
