PowerTable looks like a very useful addition, especially for governed reference data maintenance, approvals, change history and business-friendly editing. I think the interesting distinction is between maintaining master data and mastering it across systems.
Once you get into entity resolution, duplicate detection, survivorship, golden records, cross-domain relationships and continuous data quality remediation, the problem becomes broader than controlled table maintenance.
As mentioned in my comment above to the OP, I work at CluedIn, so naturally I see this from the MDM side, but I actually think these capabilities are complementary. PowerTable can strengthen the Fabric-native stewardship experience, while a dedicated mastering layer becomes relevant when the data complexity starts to grow.
