Disable embed reports

Hi,

I'd like to disable embedding Power BI reports in SharePoint, PowerPoint (export), etc. 

Is there a way to do that?

Just following up on this did you get a chance to test the tenant/admin setting adjustments? Happy if that helped restrict the embedding/export options as expected, or if you’re still running into issues.

Thanks @GilbertQ  and @Shahid12523  for the detailed pointers.

As you both shared, this can be controlled from the admin side: either by disabling embedding in SharePoint via the SharePoint admin center, or more broadly through the Power BI Admin Portal → Tenant settings where we can turn off/restrict Publish to Web, SharePoint integration, Teams integration, and Export to PowerPoint/PDF.

did you get a chance to try the above? These settings should help you disable embedding/re-exporting in SharePoint, PowerPoint, etc.

Go to Power BI Admin Portal → Tenant settings and turn off or restrict:

• Publish to web (public embedding)
• SharePoint integration (Embed in SharePoint Online)
• Teams integration (Power BI in Teams)
• Export to PowerPoint/PDF (under Export and sharing)

That disables embedding/re-exporting in SharePoint, PowerPoint, etc

As far as I am aware you would have to disable the embedding in SharePoint via your SharePoint Admin

For PowerPoint etc these can be turned off in the admin settings under the section "Export and sharing"
