Disable embed reports
Hi, I'd like to disable embedding Power BI reports in SharePoint, PowerPoint (export), etc. Is there a way to do that? Thanks!
Go to Power BI Admin Portal → Tenant settings and turn off or restrict:
- Publish to web (public embedding)
- SharePoint integration (Embed in SharePoint Online)
- Teams integration (Power BI in Teams)
- Export to PowerPoint/PDF (under Export and sharing)
That disables embedding/re-exporting in SharePoint, PowerPoint, etc

Just following up on this did you get a chance to test the tenant/admin setting adjustments? Happy if that helped restrict the embedding/export options as expected, or if you’re still running into issues.
