Support Clustered Columnstore Index (CCI) tables in Fabric's SQL Mirroring

Many business rely on SQL Server for their data analytics store, either on-prem or in the cloud. With Fabric, many of these business have a need to migrate or mirror their data from their SQL based analytical deployment to Fabric.

As best practice for performance and data volume, fact tables in SQL Server are stored in tables with clustered columnstore indexes (CCI). These, like the regular clustered index, are the actual table, even though they carry the name "index".

Currently Fabric's SQL Mirroring feature doesn't support CCI, making it impossible to mirror fact tables from SQL Server into Fabric. To do that one would have to remove the CCI, converting the table back to row store. Which is not feasable.

Please let Microsoft Fabric team know we need support for CCI in SQL Mirroring by voting in this idea.

This is a must for mirroring existing SQL-based data warehouse solutions into Fabric!
