Slicers can be used to create "buttons", but it would be great to allow "Data color" options, similar to other visuals. This would allow for these slicer buttons to serve as a color legend and reinforce data colors applied across other visuals. For instance, my report has 6 categories applied across all my visuals with consistent "data color" variations. A legend is required and redundant if presented for each visual. I also have prominent slicer buttons to review each category separately. Would be great to allow "data colors" with the slicer buttons. Would also need to accommodate, Hover, Selected, etc. variations. Presently, I use the Chiclet Slicer, along with generous padding and strategically placed color squares, to approximate the desired color legend slicer. Less than ideal approach.
