I know write back to SQL can be achieved using partner visuals or power apps, but it seems to be a fairly simple problem that could be resolved by imbedding a write enabled table visual.
Why?
Many of our users download data to excel or PDF to highlight and annotate visuals. We want to encourage users to rely on Power BI as the single source of truth, but the lack of functionality drivers technical people to move the Power BI models to excel, which then leads to unknown and unsupported changes
