New REST API Call For Semantic Models: Bind to Connection (Similar to Bind to Gateway in Group from Power BI REST API)

We're looking for the ability to make an API call to "Bind to Connection" for our Semantic Models so that we can properly automate datasource updates between stages of our deployment pipelines. Deployment Pipeline Datasource/Parameter Rules cover this manually but are far too granular (per Semantic Model, per stage) which is not scalable to larger environments. The Power BI REST API had a similar REST API call that allows us to "Bind to Gateway" but it was limited to On-Premises gateways and does not allow binding to the new Shared Cloud Connections.

Ideally, we would like to see a Bind To Connection REST API call that would function the same as the Power BI Bind to Gateway but would work for all shared connection types (On-Premises, VNET, Shared Cloud).

I suspect that this API call would also be helpful in automating the connection process for other Fabric components as well.

Alternatively, API calls to set deployment pipeline datasource / parameter rules would also be a viable alternative here, although it would provide less flexibility for any potential use cases outside of a deployment.
