Direct query with mysql Databases

Hello, are you working to allow direct query with MySQL databases? Currently this feature is not supported. Thank you

I've been deploying (or trying to) in 2 companies since 2015 and the main drawback was not able to do direct query with mysql. MySQL is everywhere and there's no way my former and current companies are going to move out of that model. Replicating necessary data to a MS server is just too much and not desired.

Still awaiting direct query for MySQL, like 5 years later...

Highly appreciate if you could add direct query support for Azure MySQL\MySQL as there are lot organizations who are on MySQL on azure and looking to explore Power BI.

Please add as this will be of great help.

This is really needed. Also, it seems odd that the same people that make MySQL also made MariaDB and Direct Queries can be made with MariaDB.
