Cannot Refresh Web Data Source

I recently created a desktop file and with "Web" as the only data source. Everything was working great. After a week, the refresh failed. I received the failure email. It appears Power BI thinks I am trying to use an on premise data source and as far as I know the "Web" feed can be refreshed without a gateway. (Like I said, it was working wonderfully for a week.) Could you offer some suggestions? I have tried renaming, republishing, deleting... I have made a new .pbix and published it from scratch with the same result. As time has passed the Power BI service has completely crashed. The following is the error message after clicking on settings... Failed to load settings Please try again later or contact support. If you contact support, please provide these details. Hello Charles. It does not matter what the website is, the data source connection is broken. The web address you attached is also broken. When I try to refresh my dataset either by refresh now or scheduling a refresh, Power BI thinks I am using an on premise data source and doesn't allow it.

Hello Ryan, you can create and refresh datasets based on webqueries. Do you have the website in question and a set of repro steps? Also we closing this forum down so please Please file that information at http://communities.powerbi.com
