Power BI Dev Camp -Session 5: December 17th - Learn About Developing for Power BI with React.js

Hear Yee Hear Yee. Next week we'll be running the December 2020 session of Power BI Dev Camp on Thursday December 17th at 11:00 AM PST and covering a very popular topic: Embedding Power BI Reports using React.js. In this session, campers will learn to create single page applications (SPAs) which embed Power BI reports using React.js library together with TypeScript, Node.js and weback. .

The session will explain how to create and configure a new React.js development project using Visual Studio Code. The session will also demonstrate best practices in SPA development for authenticating users and acquiring access tokens using Microsoft's new authentication library named msal-browser. Campers will also learn how to design an SPA application using React components for routing, navigation and Power BI embedding.

We're also looking forward to our January 2021 Dev Camp session where we will be teaching campers how to get started with custom visual development for Power BI. We'd love to hear from some of you about what other Power BI development topics you'd like to hear about int the year to come.

In the meantime, here are a few more Power BI developer resources that might be of interest.
