Python and Power BI
There are many tutorials on Python scripts, but here I would like to offer some insights on using Python combined with Power BI. The official document  already have a tutorial on how to install Python and some basic uses. We can either install python Anaconda3 pack or download python and install pandas and matplotlib packages with commands. Some commonly used packages are configured in Anaconda 3, it is not necessary to install pandas and matplotlib separately if Anaconda 3 is already installed.

It's exciting. We're starting to build up some momentum with our monthly Power BI Dev Camp sessions. Last week I presented our third session titled Deep Dive into the Power BI JavaScript API. Thursday, August 27th - Learn how to develop custom web applications for Power BI using .NET Core 3.1 and .NET 5. In this session, campers will learn best practices for acquiring and caching access tokens in cloud-based development and learn a structured approach for implementing Power BI embedding. Power BI Dev Camp is a new monthly webinar sereis that will appeal to programming enthusiasts that like to write code in languages like C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, PowerShell, M, DAX, Python and R. In Power BI Dev Camp, we’ll be examining how to develop solutions with Visual Studio as well as how to develop with Node.js using Visual Studio Code.
