We are using Power BI for our Service Analysis and as a Service Engineer I need the refreshed Exception Report in my Mail box first thing in the morning. I can achieve this through SSRS. Need to have this in Power BI too.

Definitely a need. Dashboards are great, but some people need the daily/weekly stuff in pushed to them instead of requiring them to remember to go to some page.

Yes. This is a feature that most of my end users are requesting. Further more, they want to see their activity vs the total activity inside the applicaiton. Ex: clicks by a specific user vs the total clicks

Distribution of insights to the right person at the right time is critical for a BI solution to be successful. I have seen sea change in results between just having an online report vs having insights delivered either periodically or based on certain criteria. Important thing is to be able to provide information right in the body of the email. An attachment cuts the effectiveness in half or more.

Since no effort has been made in years to improve features in SSRS, you would think that adding this basic feature to Power BI would be a no-brainer. Hard to believe it was actually released without this feature

Thank you for your effort made so far! When implementing "Send by E-Mail features -> A scheduling Engine for sending reports (Word/PDF) to mailing lists would be the perfect xMas present! (Such a usefull feature is already offered by Pyramid Analytics, where the Admin easily can setup report templates in Word/PDF and schedule them to be sent to selected reciepents)
