Currently in Power BI, I cannot updated visualizations without going into the format visualization tool. This is cumbersome for end users that want simple features like to toggle to switch between seeing data labels and removing them (especially on maps). Some of the capabilities are possible via bookmarks, however, it resets the filters being used. Creating a simple way where aspects of the visualization like labels can be added as buttons or slicers to on the visual itself would allow much better user flexibility.
