Tool tip for Specific Column in matrix/Table

There should be an option to enable custom tool tip for specific column of Matrix or Table. Currently for given row same Tooltip is visible for all columns in matrix and table visualisation. And block the view of the report.

This is an amazing feature that should come to life. It will unlock massively the power of tables. My use case if different columns with different traffic lights (status) and then in these different tooltips I would be able to show the detailed status when you hoover on the traffic light.

I see a great interest on this idea - specially when you need to show completely different report tooltip page base on column/measure. I need to show a chart for a given column and then show a text card on another column. The properties field are not helping customizing this. I also tried with matrix but could not make it work either.

We should be able to restrict a report tool tip(custom tooltip) to just one specific column.Also we should be able to add more than one report tool tip and tie it to different columns respectively.

Currently any tooltip(tooltip page or through adding fields in tooltip pane) gets applied to all the cells across the matrix table. There should be an option to add multiple customized tooltips for a row wise or column wise calculations. Usually to show several measures in a summarized view in a matrix table, this customized multiple tooltips feature would be of great benefit. This is not only for Matrix table Visuals but also can be applied for other Visuals as well.

If a report contains a Table showing multiple columns, it would be nice to have a customized tooltip for each of the columns.

Scenario: Tooltip contains one graph showing last 7 days of sales. 
What is needed: Tooltip should dynamically show graph with last 7 days of total profit, returns, and so on .

As of now, I am able to have a customized tooltip for a sales column only, but when I hover over to profit or returns, I still see the same weekly sales graph.

As matrix & table chart (all charts but i am specifying it to table and matrix ) has a limitation of having only one tooltip. as when we use matrix and table visual we show multiple column data there to get the info more readable and meaningful way so their must be a multiple tooltip option to show on every column. as when we hover on that particular column we can get that tooltip and when we move on next column we can get another page's tooltip on that... It will be great if we can specify different tooltip per column in a metrix table. I would like to show for each column a customised tooltip. The Auto tooltip selection doesn't always pick the tooltip I would like to show. Same idea will also be good for a graph chart where each chart column could have different tooltip.

When long list of fields has to be shown in a tooltip could be nice to select one (or more) specific columns which activate the tooltip (and not all columns) ...
