Hi Rami, I agree this is a great feature, and that is why we added writeback for Power Pivot, SSAS Tabular on-premises and Azure, as well as multi-dimensional to Excel and Power BI. www.poweronbi.com Chris.
I love this idea. I'd also like for the end users to be able to provide feedback at anytime to a datapoint and that feedback be visable to anyone else that has access. For example I've built a quality monitoring cube where production failures show up in a list for people to review and address. It would be great for people to be able to comment as they work these issues.
Rami, As write back in SSAS is typically not performing well in more complex, multi user user environments, an alternative could be https://www.agilityplanning.com that includes comprehensive planning features for SQL Server including automated generation of financial data warehouse models and in memory processing.
Need Write-back feature at the earliest in PowerBI as now a days customers are more interactive and would like to fully utilize the write-back features while working on Self Service BI
