That´s a great idea. Currently, a Matrix only allows to sort by Row Header or by the values. It does not allow to sort by Column Header. But that´s a functionality much needed for Finance Reporting. That´s a quick win to fix. You could do it simply via the "More Options" menu within the Visual. Thanks for considering.

Glad you raised this Raj. As Josef said above this functionality is much needed for numerical reporting. Having the ability to sort by the column header has been asked for numerous times by product teams. "More Options" menu gets my thumbs up too.

This seems very common sense. I want to group data in a matrix and then sort by a ranking within those groups. Why is this not possible?

Sorting in a table is good. But when I change back to matrix it looses the sorting order of the table.

It's enough to correct the transition from table to matrix.

I tested with a matrix. I want to sort by 2 rows and then by a value (measure). I changed to table, sorted like I want, and then I changed back to matrix.

Multi-column sort for Matrix should have been deployed when Table visual was updated.

There's a lot of similar ideas floating around but they have not been consolidated, so the votes are understated here.
