Show email address or user name in usage metrics for dashboards and reports

Hi, love this feature but wondering why my reports are showing "Unnamed User" as a user who's been viewing dashboards when all of my dashboards are protected and need a username and password with the relevant access to view it?

Why do I need edit perms on the report to see the usage metrics? The last thing I want is a support person with edit rights to my report, but I do want them to be able to understand or look at persona as described by the stats of the report.
