When a multiple pages report is published to web, the code to embed could have a variable to set the page by default

Need this feature. It will open the default page when open this report at anywhere.

Such a simple thing, yet not implemented.

currently, the process to always get the same page when users open the reports is very tedious, as you as a developer have to always remember to save on the right page in desktop before publishing. Please enable this to be set on purpose ones and for all.

In my mind it would be as simple as right clicking on one of the page tabs at the bottom, and choosing 'make home page' or 'make default page', and then a little home icon could appear on that tab (which would make it always the first tab to load).

Simply idea, would be great if it could be done.

It would be nice if there was a default state as well, that is, the filter that are being applied. Too many times I publish something that is a quick fix, but forgot to revert the report to the right page and filters, which then requires more work.

The method that Power BI uses for default pages is inconsistent with its sibling, Power Apps, where you move the desired landing page to the top of the hierarchy. I would suggest the simplest solutions for Power BI is the default page is the most left tab in edit mode or be able to tag the tab as "Default".

Also, volume of votes should not be the only deciding factor for action. This was requested in 2017, I think in 2022 it is still needed, it seems so be fundamental. Just because we have got used to it doesn't mean it isn't important.

100% agree on this one, I've got a wide monitor so in desktop I change the zoom, every time I go to publish I have to reset the page view on every page to what seems the most sensible option "Page Width", if there was an option to have this the default in the Power BI service ignoring the zoom on desktop that would be great.

The most sensible option would seem to have a second page view drop-down so there is one for the service default (of course let the users change this and remember it as currently) and the current dropdown which is for desktop.
