Would you please provide SQL Script to work in Front End the same as DAX?

Having both tools would be of great help irrespective of the source type (i.e. no matter if it's excel, Oracle, OData, etc.). Literally, for SQL to be able to interrogate, measure, relate, etc. any table loaded in Power BI Desktop. I suppose having SQL in the Power Query Editor would be useful as well but the results would not longer be dynamic.

Please, please, please, provide SQL as alternative to DAX.
