SQL Server Windows Auth Issue

I am using Cisco VPN Any Connect to VPN into another customer domain. I can ping the SQL SErver and connect to it via remote desktop using my alternate domain credentials, but when I try to log into the server from power BI using my alternate credentials, i get a 'user not authorized' error.
