Power BI Report Builder toggle to display group needs to be based on initial show/hide value

I have a report that needs to default to showing detail groups.  The +/- toggle is set to be the opposite of what users are expecting.  According to Grok, currently Power BI assumes the group starts hidden and displays the toggle with a + sign, the standard sign for drilling down.  There is no way to change this.  Also according to Grok, if the report is exported to Excel, Excel treats the +/- symbols correctly regardless of whether you defaulted showing the detail or not.
