Pass filters in URL

It would be great if we can pass filters in the url of the dashboard, which will filter the reports based on various parameters e.g. current fiscal period, geography, person's role, department etc.

This would be extremely useful, particularly in semi-embedded scenarios such as pinning as a Tab in Microsoft Teams. The ability to pin a dashboard with preset filters would remove the current need to publish multiple copies of the same report with nothing more than different filter values applied.

This is very useful in SSRS so would be great to have in PowerBI also for the same reasons

If planning is underway for this feature it would also be beneficial to have url filters that can be encrypted to ensure security around sensitive or customer reporting.
