Pass filters in URL

It would be great if we can pass filters in the url of the dashboard, which will filter the reports based on various parameters e.g. current fiscal period, geography, person's role, department etc.

'+1. Currently it supports only one filter. We need to be able to specify multiple filters.

I would like to be able to apply URL filters to the dashboard itself, so instead of making 50 copies of the same dashboard to apply to different business, business units, programs, departments etc, I can publish one dashboard, and send people to it with filtered URLs. RLS can meet part of this, but not in many cases where a person performs more than one role, so they need to be able to switch between say a Business, a couple of BUs, 10 or so programs etc, without having to manually set filters or slicers, or having to create many copies of dashboards.

Survey has duplicate question in ordered list at end. General questions are a bit broad. Can you maybe test the survey a bit more and post another link?

We want • filters in URLs for deep linking • global filters that span the dashboard and all reports (needed to support multi-tenancy)

I'd like this to apply to embeded Tiles as well as Dashboards. Currently a Tile can't share the context of the report it is contained in, so doesn't make any sense to users.

It would be great if it was possible to design a Power BI report, with for example a matrix or table that contains elements that were in themselves links to another Power BI report that is filtered for that particular value. For example if we created a table of countries, where each country name is a link that opens another report filtered for that particular country.

I second this as well. Being able to link to other pre-filtered reports would be immensely helpful. We are currently doing this with the one filter that is currently supported, but having more would give much more functionality to this concept.

I love the subscribe to report feature. When you click on the subscribe button, it would be great to be able to subscribe to the report with the currently selected filters that were passed in the URL.
