Option to not show totals for specific columns in Table/Matrix Total row

Is it possible to create the option to disable totals for specific column in the total row in the table and matrix visual?

I need this too! Please consider including this soon. I'm not sure what I can do to hide. Thinking about layering a white rectangle over it :(. NG.

It is possible to give the impression of this by using the Field Formatting options to make the font colour of totals and sub-totals the same colour as the background and only applying that to totals and subtotals but, if you then want to align the items in this column differently to the default you'll lose sight of all the values

I really needed this option too. There are use cases where the column in the grand total is only adding noise... For example, when we have a % by a sub level, the grand total on this measure will always be 100%

Having to create measures to essentially turn off these unwanted totals is problematic and creates a slower user experience for the report consumer. Please consider this as an EASY option to solve this issue. My % columns doesn't need to show 5000% while I'm trying to change the format color of the header so my report isn't stark white. Thanks!

Totally agree that this should be a simple switch in the formatting under grand total and sub total

Yes! We may have a matrix with things like "customer" and "sales" - where you want the total of sales ($$) but not the first customer (text).
