Get-PowerBIActivityEvent Logging Report Page / Report Visual level

Currently to analyze which people using which reports is only at the level of viewing a report (ActivityType: ViewReport). I would like to suggest more activities so that we better understand how our users are using our reports. Activities like: ViewReportPage, ViewReportVisual, etc. Currently there is a (pre)build "Usage Metrics Report", but it only shows the last 30 days of activity. We use Get-PowerBIActivityEvent to track all usage over time, so this would be the best place to log these activities.

I agree Gerrit.

I would like to see the number of views per report page as the output of the Get-PowerBIActivityEvent cmdlet.

In this Get_PowerBIActivityEvent cmdlet of the MicrosoftPowerBIMgmt.Admin powershellmodule one can retrieve about 120 (+) activities (among others: ViewDashboardViewDashboard, ViewDataflowViewDataflow, ViewReportViewReport, ViewTileViewTile or ViewUsageMetricsViewUsageMetrics. But the one I mis is "number of views per report page"

I would like to see an extra activity being outputed: "number of views per report page".

I suggest we (MS) call it "ViewReportPage"

In other words: Like the Report usage metrics, where one can see the number of views per report page I would like to see the same in the Get_PowerBIActivityEvent output.

This is critical for our organization, this way we can improve the experience of our PBI user community and also we can have control of external tools like Zebra BI and other extensions

As this is include in native usage stats within PBI, we know this data is there. We need this data in our API as it is critical to support and management of our PBI Assets and proper adoption.

Agree. At a minimum page level should be in place but all the other data would be excellent as well. When we think of our Power BI reports as little products we want to understand user behaviors so we can improve the experience and effectiveness of the reports.

This is critical in any organization, many reports have several pages. We need to know, in a larger scale, what's being used.

This is really needed as the only way to truly look at report usage and adoption across all workspaces.

This is much needed and critical feature to have real insight on usage of the reports across tenant. We would like to see trend on report page views.

Please! Given it can be accessed via individual report metrics in PBIS, shouldn't take much to make it available. The value it will bring to the table in understanding user behavioiurs will be immense for development teams.
