Feature to add an SQL statement importing from Google BigQuery in a dataflow

Currently, it appears that there might be a feature discrepancy between Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service (PBS) concerning the use of SQL statements in Dataflows. This is due two differences in how these platforms handle data connections and transformations.

Here are a few points to consider:

  • Power BI Desktop allows you to add SQL statements in the "Advanced Options" when using the Google BigQuery connector to filter data during import.
  • Power BI Service (PBS) does not support this feature in the same way, or it could be implemented directly on the data source.

Is there any chance that you have been thinking in the implementation of this feature for dataflows in the future? This could be a good solution for many users using Power BI and Google BigQuery.
