To run a pipeline in Fabric, you currently have to actually open the pipeline, navigate to the run menu and kick it off. Pipelines should (like other Power BI items) support:
- Add a "refresh now" icon in the workspace (just like dataflows and semantic models have)
- In the workspace view, show the spinning icon when a pipeline is refreshing
- In the workspace view, populate the "Refreshed" column with the last time the pipeline was run (and it's status)
- Allow scheduling a pipeline via the same icon / methodology as dataflows and semantic models
Long and short - I just think pipelines could be integrated into workspaces with the same functionality that other items have.
