Fabric Workspace GUI: regional date and time format

Azure Synapse allows users to set Language and Regional format (e.g. "YYYY-MM-DD" vs "MM/DD/YYY" vs "DD.MM.YYYY") for the workspace GUI separately.

I'd like to see this in Microsoft Fabric as well.

The consistent of reginal date/time format depends on the integration of  ‘Locale' in Fabric.  It is in the current plan and the idea can be supported next year once 'locale' can be set.

I work with Microsoft Fabric in the Netherlands and find the default US date format (MM/DD/YYYY) confusing for European users. It would be very helpful if users could set their regional preferences, so that dates and times are displayed in the Dutch format (DD-MM-YYYY). This would improve readability, reduce errors, and align better with other Microsoft tools like Excel and Power BI.

Upvoted. Came from this forum post: https://community.fabric.microsoft.com/t5/Fabric-platform/Date-format-is-incorrect-for-region/m-p/44... Seems like the Lakehouse UI view always shows the US date format, which is very confusing to EU and most parts of the world. This confusion is compounded if you switch to Lakehouse SQL endpoint view, there teh format is different...
