Currently, in Microsoft Fabric, managing feature branches requires creating separate workspaces for each branch. This approach can lead to workspace management challenges, especially when working with multiple feature branches, as each new branch demands its own workspace. This setup can be cumbersome, especially when trying to maintain consistency and collaboration across teams.
I would like to propose an enhancement where users can switch between feature branches within the same workspace without impacting others. This would streamline the development process, allowing teams to work on different branches simultaneously without the need for separate workspaces for each branch.
This approach would be similar to how feature branching is managed in Azure Synapse, where users can switch branches seamlessly without requiring dedicated workspaces for each branch. By adopting a similar style in Microsoft Fabric, teams would be able to focus more on their tasks without worrying about workspace management overhead.
