Dynamic tracking of column/measure usage

It would be great if I could see, either in the data pane or as part of an in-app report, if any of my columns have been used anywhere in a visual. This would be incredibly useful rather than having information just on the visual that is currently active. I envisage the ability to select a column or measure in the Data pane, and it would highlight a visual in the Selection pane, if that column/measure had been used.
