any updates? Such an important feature. Other stuff are great, but this is a must have

If this item was 'planned' on January 6th, 2016... 19months ago... can you please tell us where this is now? I was all thrilled at what PowerBI could do for us, and now I see that it cannot even manage copy/paste - so all of that useful data is great as long as you don't want to do anything more than read it. PLEASE fix this now.

As many have stated, the ability to export data to a CSV does not replace the need for a copy/paste feature directly from a visual, especially when the export data is also limited to 30k/150k rows depending on whether you have pro or not. In a very common workflow, a user would use the Power BI report to obtain a listing in a table and would want to use one item in the table to search in another application. For example, if a user finds a serial number for an item using Power BI, they may want to search for that in a database and would not want to export a whole csv to just get that one serial number. They also would not want to manually type out that serial number due to the high chance of mistakes being made. Copy/paste is a fundamental feature and should be prioritized in order for Power BI tables to not just display data, but to display useable data.

This would be a big benefit. Currently using screen print to copy visuals into power point slide decks.

we need this, the workaround is too much hazzle for final users, that sometimes doesn't even know what a .csv file is!

Adding another vote for Copy/Paste support in visuals. This is a key feature for acceptance of Power BI in my organization.
