Connect to password protected excel workbook

It would be great if we can connect or open the password protected excel workbook inside Power BI Desktop. Of course we should know & provide the password first.

This functionality is really essential, when we have to work with confidential data

Power Query / Power BI should ask / or give an option to open a password protected file , If the password is correct it should be able to open it and retrieve data from it . else it should not open it . It is a wonderful tool.. this will be helpful in maintaining sanctity of the data and confidentiality of the File by the users.

Is really needed to split fx Nordic sensitive data into country specific reports
