Connect to password protected excel workbook

It would be great if we can connect or open the password protected excel workbook inside Power BI Desktop. Of course we should know & provide the password first.

Essential for the analysis of confidential data. I currently get the following error which disappear once the password has been removed Details: "Excel Workbook: The 'Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0' provider is not registered on the local machine. The 64-bit version of the Access Database Engine 2010 Access Database Engine OLEDB provider is required to connect to read this type of file. To download the client software, visit the following site: https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=285987."

Needed. This topic may spilt into multiple conversations about secured data (ex. using password protected Excel workbooks to build/refresh a PBIX; storing passwords within the structure/content of the associated Query, controlling user access to "secured" data columns with the published Report or App, etc.)
