Conditional Formatting for Slicer Items

I'd like to apply conditional formatting to the items of a slicer, specifically the item background and item font color.

Currently the only slicer attribute which accepts conditional formatting at the item level is the borders, but I'm unable to programmatically modify the border color with a measure. It appears as if the items don't recognize the filter context of the column in the slicer.

This would be tremendously helpful to indicate certain items in a slicer that a user should click based on other selections and their access to a given report.
