I have the same need for webforms app in .NET.

I agree, for non-web programmers its a bit of an upstart to try and understand all of these urls, tokens, appid's etc. to used a browser based control on a form. We should be able to supply report names, security creds, and parameters to a PowerBI control and it render the dashboard, report, etc.
