The issue has been resolved for both:

  • Power BI Desktop: Restarting the computer resolved the problem.
  • Power BI Service: No further action was necessary.

Please note, the Power BI Desktop infrastructure update feature is no longer in preview.

Thank you for your assistance.

Best regards,

Hi @na12063 ,

Have a good day.

Are you logged into the correct work account in your organization in Desktop? Could you check if the account can access power apps environments and if the account has powerapps license?

Besides, please try uninstalling power bi desktop and installing the latest desktop.

If these still don't work, please take a look at the limitations of this visual.

Finally, I found a post with a similar problem. Hope it helps you.

Best regards,

I restarted computer but still have isuue with PowerApp visual.

Strange thing is that the there was the same problem with PowerAutomate Visual, but somehow it was fixed after some time....

Hi @Aleksandar123
Please try adding the app from Power BI Service.

Regards

I can do that and it will probably work, but if I change somehtin in the report ( add some new visual ) I wil have to add power app visual again the serevice after publisning report. It si not coveniet way to do than after every publishing of the report
Thanks

I understand—this was also confirmed by a Microsoft support representative. I just checked, and adding a PowerApps app in Power BI Desktop is working as expected; I can see and select any environment. I recommend installing the latest version of Power BI Desktop if you haven't already, as this might help.

I'm sorry I don’t have additional suggestions, and I completely understand how frustrating this can be.

Best regards,
