Power Automate - Export To File for Power BI - Problem with visual

Hello.

I configured the export action like this. Very simple:

Choose a report

Choose a page

Choose a bookmark

Expectation is to receive a PDF with one visual:

What I got: The visual that I care and some Visual Slicers together.

Why?

Hi @MatheusLPS ,

Thank you for sharing the details of your issue.

The behavior you’re seeing happens because bookmarks in Power BI save the entire page state, including all visible visuals and slicers. Unfortunately, when exporting via Power Automate, hidden visuals in bookmarks sometimes still appear in the output PDF.

As mentioned by @GilbertQ , recommended workaround is to create a dedicated report page that contains only the visual you want to export, and then configure the export action to use that specific page instead of relying on bookmarks. This method tends to produce cleaner exports with only the desired visuals included.

Hope this helps. Please reach out for further assistance.

Hi @MatheusLPS

Could this be because those particular items are hidden on the bookmark? What I would recommend doing is creating a new page for what you want to email instead of trying to use the bookmarks feature.
