Creating a flow, getting constant errors

As a test Im moving my Adventure Works transformation from power BI into a Data flow. they are all fairly simple. Create a column, split column etc et but every step of the way im getting nothing but errors

We encountered an error.JPG

this is one that comes up constantly. Basically ever time I try and create something I get an error. the above one you cant get rid of. You have to start again.

Is data Flow fit for purpose yet ? It doesnt seem like it to me

HI @DebbieE ,

Can you please share more detailed information to help us clarify your scenario? It is hard to troubleshooting from the session id. (e.g. datasoruce type, connection mode, datasource credentials, gateway config...)

HI @DebbieE ,

Do you mean Azure SQL data warehouse? Can you confirm your credentials has enough permission to access the remote server?

In addition, did these notices appear when you connect to datasource or appear when you edit on a connected query table? If you mean edit operations, I'd like to suggest you take a look at computed entities(premium license only) which allow doing some in-query transform operations:

I have ower permissions and Im using an Azure SQL Data base.

I dont have Premium. Im on Pro. are dataflows worth doing if your not in Premium?
