Hi! In Excel, I'm able to connect to a Power BI Semantic Model and insert a table, i.e. following these steps: Power BI semantic model experience in Excel - Power BI | Microsoft Learn.
How can I edit which semantic model that the Excel file's imported table is pointing to? For example, if the Excel file is using Semantic Model A, I would want it to point to Semantic Model B on the PBI Service. Unsure where to go to change this setting.

Hi @Anonymous You can update the semantic model in Excel by going to the Data tab, selecting Connections, and in the Connection Properties window, navigating to the Definition tab to update the connection string or server URL to point to the new semantic model.
This is the correct solution (just marked as accepted); adding more context that the user would need to update the dataset ID w/in the Definition connection string and check the default query for syntax changes, e.g. if the table was renamed, additional fields need to be brought in, etc.
