I was woundering if anyone had experience in using Wonde api with dataflows ?
Solved! Go to Solution.
see if this helps. Solved: Dataflows - Web API - authentication - Microsoft Fabric Community
Are you using Gen1 or Gen2 dataflows?
Thanks for the direction the problem I had was the authetication method.
@mwoollen soloution below worked in the dataflow.
Not sure why but I had to use the token in the username and have a blank password for the refresh schedule to work which I though was odd.
let
Username = "[your username]",
Password = "[your password or TOKEN]",
UserPass = Username & ":" & Password,
Bytes = Text.ToBinary(UserPass),
Base64_UserPass = Binary.ToText(Bytes, BinaryEncoding.Base64),
TargetURL = "[target URL]",
//TargetURL = "https://companyxyz.atlassian.net/rest/api/latest/search",
Source = Json.Document(Web.Contents(TargetURL,
[
Headers = [
#"Authorization" = "Basic " & Base64_UserPass,
#"Content-Type" = "application/json"
]
]
))

Many thanks

Please provide a more detailed explanation of what you are aiming to achieve. What have you tried and where are you stuck?
In this example Wonde Integration with Power BI using the API | Power BI for Schools it shows a function called 'fGetStudents' and a query to call the function. This works and brings the records back.
However, when editing the data flow the connection has to be set to 'Anonymouse' for the code to work.
But when refreshing the dataflow it says 'Error: Credentials not found for data source'

Make it work on the desktop and then see if you can transplant it to the dataflow.
