My report auto refresh failed when my device needs update. When I log in PBI service and manual refresh, it works again. I have to edit my credential again to enable auto refresh. Is it by design? How can I resolve this in future, I don't want it fail for device not compliant.
The error message:
Refresh failed:
PRTracker_ppe has failed to refresh.
Failure details: The last refresh attempt failed because of an internal service error. This is usually a transient issue. If you try again later and still see this message, contact support.

Hello All....I'm happy to report that I found a solution. To resolve this issue, I went into the "Data Source Credentials" in the Services Settings and for all Web type connection, I have to change the "Skip Test connection" settings. If the option was checked on, I have to unchecked, if it was unchecked, I have to checked on. This will trigger the OAutho2 sign on screen, where I selected my credentials again. Then, all my reports started refreshing successfully. It seems like there was a bad connections and reconfiguring the connections fixed the problem.

Thanks, but we are not the same case, my error message says "Conditional Access policy requires a compliant device, and the device is not compliant" and I can manual refresh successfully. Seems like my device got checked during refresh and it was not compliant, is it by design?
It seems like this issue started happening in late July 2023 mid August. My reports were refreshing automatically for months. The automatic refresh failed for the first time in Aug 13, 2023. My device is is compliant in AD Azure. My company doesn't register internal equipment in Intune. Intune is only used for BYOD. My IT tema is having a hard time trying to resolve this issue. All the responses posted in this thread from MSFT are not related to this error code AADSTS53000. We need MSFT to provide more details and resolution to this issue.
