Why can I not export data from visuals if the report has not yet been saved?

• I could always (in the past) export to excel the data from a matrix or table (for example) without saving the report.
• This was a simple option that allowed me to run checks without saving reports or creating draft pages into the report for testing.
• Why has this feature been changed?

This feature was highly valuable for end users, as requiring the report, page, or visual to be saved every time to export data is inefficient and time-consuming. We kindly request you to reinstate the previous functionality, allowing users to export data without the need to save the visual or page first.
