Power BI main engine should be case sensitive.

Hi Team,

Here is a new Idea to improve Power BI Desktop application.

Current Power BI Desktop keeping/following the case of the first occurrence of the text in a column, to all next occurrences.

We had a discussion with Support team about this and they said it is by-design. (Sharing ticket tracking Id for more details TrackingID#2410170010000620)

Currently, Power BI Query engine is case sensitive, but Power BI main report model is case insensitive. It Follow the case of fist occurrence of the word to all the next occurrences.

This is leading to change in users' data like Titles, Names, Heading, Trademark names etc. and we should not change users' data while providing ng reports.

For Power BI report users' data is something very crucial and important.

This can be a great improvement in power BI desktop application. As users are very specific with the data on reports.

This is well-thought-out improvement idea, I experienced this scenario and this change could greatly benefit Power BI’s effectiveness for data-senseitive reporting
