Enable syncing of Page Filters across multiple pages

The latest (Nov 2018) release of Power Bi Desktop had some really neat improvements to the Filter pane. One missing item is the ability to sync Page level filters across multiple (not ALL) pages. One can achieve this using Slicers but slicers take up space you have to completely hide it. Allowing Page level Filters to sync across selected pages will therefore ensure it can be used in scenarios where the filter needs to be applied to multiple but NOT ALL pages.

I was about to add this comment when I saw your idea! This would be a great improvement!

Yes, please - I was just trying to do exactly this! I have a single page in my report that does not need the to use the report level filter - but I don't want to have to set all of the other filters as page level. It would also be nice to allow on-page slicers to interact with the new filters pane filters - currently on-page slicers are filtered by filter-pane filters, but they do not filter the filter-pane filters in any way. Example - I have a report currently where I want the user to set the filter ONCE, and then never see that selection again. I have done this by creating a slicer on the first tab of my report - and that tab is marked as "Hide Page". Since I save the file with that first tab open - it's actually visible to the user when they open the report each time, but once they have navigated away from the tab they cannot go back to it. Unfortunately - a selection on that slicer does not affect the Filter Pane options in any way, so users would be able to change that first filter as many times as they want to.

This is an important feature.

not sure if this is needed, since a decent workaround is using report level filters and creating multiple reports with action buttons linking the different files and hidden pages to create a seamless ux

This would be amazing to have - an extremely important need without having to create separate DAX measures that intentionally ignore report-level filters
